On Saturday 20 December, audiences at London International Horse Show are in for a treat as world-renowned horse trainer and acclaimed stunt actor Dan Naprous – whose credits include Game of Thrones, The Crown, and Wonder Woman – takes centre stage as host of Driving Force, the next edition of the LeMieux Masterclass series. Naprous, Britain’s top Carriage Driver, will be joined by one of the UK’s most beloved equestrian and lifestyle influencers – and 2025 Show Ambassador – This Esme, in a high-energy live demonstration that unveils the skill, strategy, and precision behind the sport of Driving.
London International Horse Show is also delighted to announce that This Esme will return as an official Show Ambassador for the fourth year running. She will once again bring her unique insight, charm, and behind-the-scenes access to one of the most prestigious equestrian events of the year. As an Ambassador, she will share exclusive content from the Show, meet fans, and celebrate the best in international Show Jumping, Dressage, and Driving.

A discipline full of thrills and skills, Driving is one of three FEI World Cup™ competitions hosted by London International Horse Show during the week at Excel London. In top-level Driving, competitors drive teams of four horses around courses of obstacles, with the winner being the quickest. Penalties are incurred for knocking obstacles, so the dual skills of speed and agility are essential.
Providing an insight into the skills required for international Driving, the LeMieux Driving Force Masterclass will see Naprous showcase two different turnouts. A single-horse carriage will give Esme the opportunity to take the reins herself and experience the sport from the driver’s seat, while an appearance from one of Naprous’s four-in-hand horse teams will demonstrate the more advanced techniques used at the top levels of competitive Driving. From mastering the reins and the fundamentals of steering, to executing tight turns and the thrill of speed, the session will offer a rare glimpse into what it takes to excel in this fast-paced discipline.
Naprous comments: “It’s a real privilege to bring the LeMieux Driving Masterclass back to London International for 2025, it’s a brilliant opportunity to give the audience a behind-the-scenes look at the skill and precision behind Driving – just before the excitement of the FEI Driving World Cup™ Opening Competition that evening.”

The Masterclass is of particular interest to Show Ambassador This Esme. Having been a stalwart supporter of London International Horse Show, and Show Ambassador for many years, 2025 will be the first year that This Esme makes an appearance in one of London International’s two arenas. Esme will also be appearing on the Talk Horse Live Zone for Meet & Greet sessions on both Friday and Saturday afternoon.
“I’ve tried Driving before and absolutely loved it but getting the chance to do it live at London International with Dan is next level!” said This Esme. “It’s such a thrilling sport and totally different to what I’m used to, so I’m really looking forward to sharing the experience with the audience in real-time –- it’s a Masterclass not to miss!”

Jonathan Goold, Event Director, adds: “The Driving LeMieux Masterclass is always a fan favourite, and we are delighted to have it as part of the series once again. With Naprous’s cinematic flair and extensive expertise paired with This Esme’s equine curiosity and wide-reaching audience, the session promises an entertaining and educational ride for horse enthusiasts of all ages.”
