The Talk Horse Live Zone is back at this year’s London International Horse Show with a brand-new timetable packed with fresh features, star presenters, and interactive sessions designed to thrill every equestrian enthusiast!

Situated at the heart of the Shopping Village, The Talk Horse Live Zone serves as a dynamic platform for visitors to engage with the sport’s most influential figures, including Olympic athletes, Show competitors and leading equestrian personalities. Expertly hosted by presenters Flo Carter and Alanna Clarke, visitors can expect insightful conversations and engaging content thanks to their infectious energy and passion for equestrian sport.

As highlights go, visitors are spotlit for choice! In new developments, 2025 marks the debut of The LeMieux Rider Spotlight series – an exciting new feature where top riders from the Show share personal insights, career journeys, and behind-the-scenes stories. These exclusive interviews give fans a rare glimpse into the lives of elite equestrians and their paths to success. On Sunday 21 December, ‘Agria Super Sunday’, audiences can look forward to an unmissable session, Interview: Agria in Conversation with Show Ambassador Matt Sampson, ahead of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ presented by Agria. And that’s not all – on Friday afternoon, two of Britain’s brightest stars in showjumping, Joe Stockdale and Jack Whitaker will take centre stage for a live interview and interactive Q&A. An unrivalled opportunity to hear their stories, gain insider tips straight from the arena, and ask them any burning questions.

On Thursday 18 December, audiences can enjoy a packed afternoon of Dressage, kicking off with a brand-new panel, Dressage In the Spotlight. British Olympic Dressage rider and World Championship silver medallist, Richard Davison, will host a Question Time-style panel featuring international riders, coaches and leading dressage figures welcoming audience participation to cover current topics in the Dressage space. Following this, Para Dressage takes centre stage: the legendary Natasha Baker OBE, along with other brilliant British riders, Gabriella Blake, Mari Durward-Akhurst, Jemima Green, and Nicola Naylor, will share how they got into the sport, memories and stories from the 2025 European Championships and so much more.

Elsewhere, don’t miss an exclusive session with two icons of British & Irish showjumping. Before the Brilliance Horse Auction Co. Auction kicks off on the evening of Saturday 21 December, make sure you’re at The Talk Horse Live Zone at 12:30 for an insightful talk with International Showjumpers and renowned horse producers, William Funnell and Shane Breen. With decades of experience at the top of the sport, Shane Breen, one of Ireland’s leading showjumpers and the co-founder of Breen Equestrian, and William Funnell, a five-time Hickstead Derby winner and co-founder of the prestigious Billy Stud, will share their insights on the rising standards of British breeding and producing and how this inspired them to  team up for The Brilliance Horse Auction Co. They’ll take you behind the scenes of running their auctions in the modern equestrian world, before wrapping up with an interactive Q&A where you can ask your own questions directly to these legends of the sport.

And that’s not all! he hugely popular Talk Horse podcast steps out of the studio and onto the stage for three festive live editions! Hosted by dynamic duo Pippa Funnell MBE and Tristan Phipps, these Talk Horse Live sessions will feature top international riders sharing candid stories, insider tips, and behind-the-scenes secrets like never before. Previous guests on the podcast have included influencers Harlow White and Demir Topcu, eventing stars William Fox-Pitt and Laura Collett MBE as well as equestrian presenters Rosie Turner and Oli Bell. Expect lively conversation, expert insights, and plenty of festive cheer as Talk Horse brings its signature energy to the heart of the Show – an unmissable treat for fans of all ages.

And now one for the social fans, who can expect star-studded fun! The Live Zone will host a range of Meet & Greets across the week with some of the equestrian world’s most loved personalities and influencers. Highlights include Friday 19 December at 17:30, when 2025 Show Ambassador and fan favourite This Esme takes the stage. Catch her again on Saturday 20 at 18:00. On Sunday 21 December at 17:30, eventing sensation Meg Elphick joins the fun, returning on Monday 22 December at 12:30 for another chance to meet her in person. Get ready for smiles, stories, and those all-important selfies! And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, we’ve got a very special surprise appearance still to be revealed – a much-requested name sure to entice a packed-out crowd! Displays are such an important part of London, and the Shetland Pony Grand National panels promise plenty of fun and insider knowledge. These lively sessions give fans the chance to hear directly from the junior jockeys who make this much-loved event so thrilling, guaranteed to inspire young equestrians and delight pony lovers of every age. Don’t miss this chance to meet the stars of one of the Show’s most iconic traditions!

This year’s official Show Charity, Sport in Mind, will host daily sessions highlighting the transformative power of being active, spending time outdoors, and the role horses play in boosting mental health. Expect a range of informative and interactive discussions with ambassadors, professionals, and partners, including their latest collaboration with British Equestrian. In addition, to celebrate the unsung heroes of the sport, the YETI Groom Moments return for three days – Saturday 20, Sunday 21, and Monday 22 December – shining a light on the dedication and expertise of grooms who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support every rider’s performance at the Show. On Friday 19 December, Power of Polo and the Hurlingham Polo Association will explore the positive impact of horses within communities, and the role polo plays in this sphere. Audiences will also hear powerful stories of impact and participant experiences from youth to veteran, and Michael Kaddu will bring a unique perspective as both a former participant and current Youth Trustee.

Sustainability takes the spotlight once again as the Exhibitor Sustainability Award, supported by White Griffin, returns. Scheduled for Monday 22 December at 16:15, this prestigious accolade celebrates exhibitors who are leading the way in embedding sustainable practices into their businesses, showcasing innovation and responsibility at the heart of the equestrian industry.

Families will find plenty to enjoy too, with a fantastic line-up of dedicated children’s activities running every day of the Show. Young visitors can dive into hands-on fun with interactive sessions from Thursday to Saturday with LeMieux in collaboration with The Pony Club, where they’ll learn all about horse care in a playful, educational setting. Budding riders can also join the British Hobby Horse Club competitions on Sunday and Monday mornings, for energetic races and challenges that bring the thrill of competition to life – no real pony required! These activities are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories for children of all ages, making the Show a truly family-friendly experience.
