London 2012 Gold medal winning team mates Scott Brash and Ben Maher teamed up to win The Martin Collins Enterprises Pairs Relay at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight.

Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and Norway’s Victoria Gulliksen were joint winners of The Six Bar at The London International Horse Show Olympia this afternoon. Aznar, riding Chatman, and Gullikson, riding Grand Balou, were the only two riders to jump five clear rounds of fences, with the final fence increasing into 1.95M.

Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer won the Holly Speed Stakes supported by Olympia at The London International Horse Show this afternoon. Riding Leonard de la Ferme CH, Schwizer completed the one round speed competition in 52.34 seconds just ahead of Ireland’s Cian O’Connor and The Netherlands Maikel Van der Vleuten.

Knutsford’s Becky Penny and her six year old Fell pony Townend Schubert won the Native BSPS Ridden Mountain and Moorland Championships sponsored by Blue Chip Olympia this afternoon.

The Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry has again been delighting packed crowds at The London International Horse Show Olympia. Ahead of their 12th and final performance at the show tonight Captain James Harbord, Musical Ride Officer, spoke about the Ride and what it’s like to perform at Olympia.

John Whitaker

John Whitaker was the crowd-pleasing winner of the H&M Ivy Stakes at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight. In front of a capacity crowd and riding Ornellaia, Whitaker completed the competition’s jump off in 36.32 seconds ahead of Steve Guerdat of Switzerland and The Netherlands’s Maikel Van der Vleuten.

Coventry’s Martin Reid and his dog, Borderpaws Secret Surprise (known as Spring) won the The Kennel Club Large Novice Dog Agility Finals at the The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight (Sunday 20 December).

Exeter’s Oliver Tuff won the H&M Mistletoe Mini Stakes at Olympia at The London International Horse Show Olympia. Twelve-year-old Oliver rode Show Me Again to complete the contest’s jump off in a time of 28.91 seconds ahead of Claudia Moore and Madison Heath.

Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano won the Longines FEI World Cup presented by H&M at The London International Horse Show, Olympia this afternoon. Riding Admara, Gaudiano completed the jump off in 36.20 seconds ahead of Great Britain’s Ben Maher in second place, and Michael Whitaker in third.

County Down’s Alex Finney won the H&M Pony Club Mini-Major at The London International Horse Show Olympia this afternoon. Partnered by Huddersfield’s William Whitaker in the pairs relay competition, 11-year old Alex, completed her course in just 20.94 seconds, almost two seconds ahead of her nearest rival.

William and John Whitaker

William Whitaker and his uncle John Whitaker came first and third in the Christmas Tree Stakes at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight. Riding Balibu, William completed the jump off in 31.89 seconds, just 0.19 seconds ahead of second placed Ana-Julia Kontio of Finand (32.08) riding at her first Olympia. John was an agonising 0.01 of a second behind Kontio, on 32.09 seconds.

Ijsbrand Chardon

Dutch drivers Ijsbrand Chardon and Koos de Ronde picked up valuable World Cup qualifying points in the FEI World Cup Driving Leg presented by Dodson & Horrell at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight. A clearly delighted Chardon won the competition ahead of Australia’s Boyd Exell, with fellow countryman de Ronde a dramatic third ( with the team having a spectacular crash on completing their round).

Ben Maher

Ben Maher won The Christmas Masters at the London International Horse Show Olympia this afternoon. Riding Boomerang, Ben was the only rider from a field of seven to complete five rounds of jumping. Tactics come in to play as each rider who clears a round gets to nominate a fence which is then increased in height for their next round. Prize money is also increased as each increased fence is cleared, with the winner taking the entire pot.

Germany’s Hans-Dieter Dreher won The Shelley Ashman International Ltd, E M Rogers (transport) Ltd Father Christmas Stakes at the London International Horse Show Olympia this afternoon. Riding Callisto, Dreher was one of only four riders, from a field of 22, to complete a clear round including the joker fence in the accumulator competition. Great Britain’s Whitaker brothers, John and Michael, were second and third respectively.

Chloe Winchester

Chloe Winchester won the Dodson and Horrell and The World Class Programme Under 23 British Championship 2015 at the London International Horse Show Olympia this morning. Riding Avoca Valkyrie, she cleared the jump off in 33.89 seconds ahead of Abbe Burchmore-Eames and Jessica Mendoza.

Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza won the Longines Christmas Cracker at the London International Horse Show Olympia tonight, her first international title at the competition. Riding Spirit T, Mendoza completed the jump off in 31.43 seconds ahead of Swiss rider Pius Schwizer in second and Great Britain’s Laura Renwick in third.

The Netherlands’ Jur Vrieling won The Christmas Speed Stakes at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight. In front of a packed crowd he completed the course in a time of 56.78 seconds, just ahead of Simon Delestre of France, and Great Britain’s Ben Maher.

Great Britain’s Guy Williams won The Levy Restaurants Snowman Stakes at the London International Horse Show Olympia this afternoon. Riding Golddigger, Williams recorded a time of just 31.13 seconds to clear the course in the second round of the competition, ahead of Sweden’s Peder Fredricson and Germany’s Marcus Ehning.

Germany’s Hilmar Meyer and Belgium’s Jos Verlooy were joint winners of the Alltech Christmas Puissance at The London International Horse Show Olympia tonight. The pair were the only two left compete the fifth round of the competition by which point the wall stood at 2.15M, and which both cleared.

Charlotte Harding and her dog, Jed I Candy, won the Kennnel Club ABC Dog Agility Stakes Final at the London International Horse Show Olympia this evening.

Robert Whitaker won The Porsche Cayenne Challenge at London International Horse Show Olympia tonight (Thursday 17 December). Riding USA Today, Whitaker completed the speed course in 50.25 seconds just ahead of William Funnell and Laura Renwick on 50.47 seconds.

Carl Hester won tonight’s (Wednesday 16 December) Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Grand Prix Freestyle supported by Horse and Hound at the London International Horse Show Olympia. It was Hester’s first win at Olympia since his first appearance at the show in 2003.

European, World and Olympic champion Charlotte Dujardin came a rare second in in tonight’s (Wednesday 16 December) Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Grand Prix Freestyle supported by Horse and Hound at the London International Horse Show Olympia.
