Julia Pharo was born and raised in the Transvaal – the heart of South Africa’s gold, platinum and diamond mining community.
As a little girl, her young fingers were constantly stained by the brick red earth of her grandfather’s diamond mine where she played, searching through the rich soil dreaming of finding her own precious gemstone.
Growing up, her passion for gemstones evolved into designing jewellery for the remarkable diamonds her family were mining – beginning a lifelong love affair with fine jewellery.
Pursuing her dream to become a master jeweller, Julia travelled to the United Kingdom to study jewellery design and traditional bench skills and now works as a fine jeweller in London’s Hatton Garden.
An expert in responsibly sourced diamonds and coloured gemstones, Julia is also a Certified Gemmologist (Gem-A) and is also member of The GIA Alumni Association.

Each of our products is cut by hand, and made by our team of seamstresses in our production unit. We use British Tweed and our Faux-Fur is ethically sourced and certified as faux. Eleven Fifteen co-founders, Sarah and Emma, met in 2016. We bonded over a longing for classic, affordable and eminently wearable jewellery with an edge. Something simple and high quality enough to wear all day, every day but original enough to add some personality to basics.

And so, while balancing jobs and two babies apiece, Eleven Fifteen was born. Named as a nod to 15th November, the birthday shared by their two eldest children, Eleven Fifteen set out with the simple idea of creating beautiful, everyday pieces to lend effortless style to any outfit.

Proudly based in Cambridge, England, our designs offer a contemporary take on timeless classics and are designed for sophisticated, stylish and busy women.
Here are some of our favourite pieces: Our brand new initial necklaces are a personal piece to treasure forever. These mini initials, just 4mm high, are made from 9ct gold and sit on the daintiest of chains, adjustable to 15″ or 17″. Simple, personal, classic and above all, timeless. A subtle memento to mark the name of someone or somewhere special, we both wear two at a time – one on each length – with our children’s initials.

Understated but bang on-trend, our limited edition T Bar Necklaces are the ultimate necklace for this season. In true Eleven Fifteen style, we’ve taken a classic and given it a lift – adding a squared off finish and a pyramid middle and keeping dimensions subtle and discreet. We wear ours layered beneath an Open Circle Necklace on a long beaded chain. The design features an 18ct Gold Vermeil square bar pendant measuring 25mm on an 18” plain trace chain, they are also available in Sterling Silver.

Our Mini Hoops are a jewellery box staple. Small but perfectly formed, these earrings are the ideal size for a subtle fix of glamour yet understated enough to wear everyday.
