All about London Horse Show

The London International Horse Show 2023 is set to be an amazing event with a multitude of activities to entertain horse enthusiasts of all ages. Held at the Excel Centre in London, this year’s show will feature FEI World Cup qualifiers in jumping, dressage, and driving, and each day of the Show will include 5-star show jumping competition and, on Friday 15th December the thrilling Puissance jumping competition.

Visitors can also expect to see the Shetland Pony Grand National and a stunning Lusitano display team. There will be a Shopping Village of over 200 stands, where equestrian enthusiasts can browse and shop for everything from equitex saddle pads to Aztec Diamond Equestrian clothing.

In addition to the main arena, there will be a second arena hosting a new showing series, Kennel Club Dog Agility and masterclasses. Visitors can also meet plenty of influencers in The Live Zone, including Harlow and Megan Elphick, and attend talks and seminars from famous horse riders like Nick Skelton and Scott Brash. Dressage fans can look forward to seeing top competitors perform such as Charlotte Dujardin, and Carl Hester.

This year’s show will feature top-level British dressage and showjumping riders, and spectators can keep up with the action with live results from British Showjumping.

Similar to The Horse of the Year Show 2023, London will now house a showing competition alongside its usual line up. 

There will be opportunities to learn about horse riding in London in the Shopping Village and Live Zone, as well as horse events and horse shows near you. Attendees can even get tips on how to jump on horseback and watch demonstrations of exercise techniques for cross country horse jumping.

Whether you’re a seasoned equestrian or just starting out, there’s something for everyone at the London International Horse Show 2023. From the International Displays to the British Show Pony Society and the British Show Horse Association, this event is sure to impress even the most discerning horse lover.
