Exhibitor Parking at the Show

Everything you ever wanted to know about accessing ExCeL – and parking!

For 2024 we have continued to work with ExCeL London to improve the parking and traffic management for our exhibitors.

Arriving at ExCeL for build up & dropping off

We are continuing to use Voyage Control for 2024, and have worked with the venue traffic team to clarify which VE doors to recommend to you when you come to book your delivery slots.

The Voyage Control system will go live at the beginning of November. If you exhibited with us in 2023 you will already have an account and can use the same login details, but new exhibitors will need to create a login and password and then complete the information required. This includes the type and reg number of the vehicle, contact details and which slot you would like on your designated arrival day.

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an electronic pass, which you can either print out or keep on your phone. You should arrive at ExCeL East entrance 15 minutes before your designated time and show the pass to the traffic marshals. We recommend that you print the pass to display in your vehicle.

You will be given access to the South Lorryway as soon as space becomes available. The system is reliant on exhibitors keeping to the timeslots they have booked to avoid delays in accessing the South Lorryway.

Voyage Control will used for build-up, restocking and breakdown.

Lorry Parking at ExCeL

We are not using Pudding Milll Lane in 2024, but instead will open up the North Lorry Park for limited lorry parking, which can be booked on a first-come first-served basis. Booking for this will open at the same time as your Exhibitor Manual goes live.

If you are unsuccessful in making a booking for the North Lorry Park, there are other lorry parks within the M25 which we can suggest to you – full details will be in the Exhibitor Manual.

The Car Park will be charged per 24hrs, and pre-payment is mandatory as there are no facilities to take payments at the car park.

Costs will not exceed:

Vehicles over 3.5t - 13.5t	£25 + VAT
13.5t - 18.5t	£40 + VAT
40ft or Artic	£55 + VAT

Car & Small Van Parking at ExCeL

There will be limited availability for exhibitors to park in the Orange Car Park underneath ExCeL. The Orange Car Park is pre-booked only and is an ANPR system. You will be given a code to book the Orange car Park with the Exhibitor Manual. Costs will be £25 for 24hrs.

Restocking

Restocking takes places daily from 07:00 – 09:00. You will need to book your restocking slot on Voyage Control.

Collections & Breakdown

Breakdown is split into two phases.

Phase 1

Sunday 22^nd from 18:30 – 23:00hrs.

All vehicles must be off site by 23:00hrs.

There is no room for flexibility in these timings. You will be asked which phase you wish to be in, and we will then assess whether or not we think you can meet this deadline. If not, we may move you to Phase 2.

Phase 2

Monday 23^rd from 05:00 – 11:00hrs

Once we have agreed your phase with you, you will need to book your collection slot on Voyage Control.

Depending on where your storage area is, you may be able to clear it during the day on Sunday 22nd. However, storage units located by the London Arena will not be able to clear when the Arena is in use.

Porters

Free-of-charge porters are available on a first-come first-served basis through the Shopping Village Organiser’s Office. You can book your own porter through BookaPorter through the Exhibitor Manual.

Storage

There is a limited number of 3m x 3m storage boxes available for you to book. Storage areas are located at each end of the Shopping Village at a cost of £195 + VAT per 3m x 3m, up to a maximum of 9m x 3m. There will a small amount of free-of-charge communal storage available.

Driving within the M25

There are a number of restrictions on vehicles driving within the M25. Please note ExCeL is not in the Congestion Charging Zone.

London Ultra Low Emission Zone

The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year, except Christmas Day (25 December). The zone covers all areas within the M25.

If you do not meet the standard you must pay a £12.50 daily charge to drive inside the zone.

This includes:

Cars, motorcycles, vans and specialist vehicles (up to and including 3.5 tonnes) and minibuses (up to and including 5 tonnes)
Residents of the Congestion Charge area (the 100% discount of the daily ULEZ charge has ended).

Lorries, vans or specialist heavy vehicles (over 3.5 tonnes) and buses, minibuses and coaches (over 5 tonnes) do not need to pay the ULEZ charge. But they will need to pay the LEZ charge if they do not meet the LEZ emissions standard.

Direct Vision Standard

ExCel is also within the Direct Vision Standard Zone. The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and safety permit for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) requires operators of lorries over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight to obtain a safety permit before entering and operating in most of Greater London.

If your vehicle does not comply you may receive a substantial fine.

Delivery Service

If your vehicle is affected by the ULEZ or DVS (or even if it is not) you may wish to investigate getting your goods delivered and collected by Kuehne & Nagel, our official freight forwarding contractor. Kuehne & Nagel are able to collect your stand dressings and goods and will deliver them to your stand/storeroom. They are also able to return items to your premises.

Wristbands

You are allocated a set number of wristbands according to stand size:

Up to and including 9m²	4 wristbands
9.25m² to 12m²	6 wristbands
12.25m² to 20m²	8 wristbands
Over 20m²	10 wristbands

Please note that wristbands do not give you any access to the International Arena or London Arena seating or stables.
