Private Hospitality Boxes – The International Arena Access
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to your Private Hospitality Box
Here is all the information you might need to get the most out of your hospitality experience at London International Horse Show.
Finding Your Private Box
If coming from the Car Park, ascend to Ground Level and enter the Boulevard at the Main Show Entrance.
Follow the Boulevard and enter the North Hall through Entrance N7 where you will find the VIP Hospitality Guest Reception.
You will be greeted by the Hospitality Team and escorted to your Box by one of our VIP Hosts.
The Private Hospitality Boxes are highlighted on the map below.
ACCESS TO BOXES
The staircase to the Private Boxes is a short distance from the VIP Hospitality Guest Reception and will be clearly signposted; a small lift is also available for access up onto the box platform.
DRESS CODE
For the afternoon performances the dress code is smart.
For the evening performances the dress code is black tie. Gentlemen should wear a dinner jacket and tie, and we suggest that ladies wear a cocktail dress or evening trousers & jacket.
COATS AND UMBRELLAS
Private Hospitality Box guests are welcome to use the VIP cloakroom located at the VIP Hospitality Guest Reception area. All items left in the cloakroom are left at the owner’s own risk.
Travel and Parking
Driving and Parking at The Excel
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT EXCEL IS NOW IN THE ULTRA-LOW EMISSION ZONE. YOU MAY NEED TO PAY TO ENTER THIS ZONE IF COMING BY CAR. CHECK YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER TO FIND OUT MORE.
Car Parking Passes for Private Hospitality Boxes at London International Horse Show allow access to the VIP Car Park below the main arena.
As a hospitality guest, you have been allocated two free car parking places, allowing access to the VIP Car Park (which is a section of parking in the main underground car park) below the main arena. You will have been given a code to allow you to pre-book your car using its registration number into the underground car park – please note that the underground car park is an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) car park and you will be charged if your registration number is not in the system prior to arriving at Excel London.
Please ensure you pre-book your car parking space before Friday 12th December using the parking code and link provided by the Hospitality Team.
All VIP Parking is in the VIP spaces in the West Car Park – Zone West 3. Please see the map below.
For the easiest access to Excel’s car park it is advised that all vehicles arrive and depart via Royal Albert Way (A1020). If approaching from east London, then please use the A13 and exit at the Beckton roundabout for access to Excel. If approaching from north London, please use the A406 and exit at the Beckton roundabout for access to Excel.
For vehicles coming from south or west London, please note roadworks are in place during the construction of the Silvertown Tunnel. These are causing significant traffic disruption on the approach to Excel over the Lower Lea Crossing. If you are travelling from central London or from the south, using the Blackwall Tunnel to access the car park, please use the A13 and turn off on the A112 junction taking Tollgate Road southbound.
The postcode for Excel public parking is E16 1FR.
The What3words for Excel East is ///drip.cheese.luxury
My car is taller than 1.9 meters – where can I park or pre-book?
When you arrive on site please report to the traffic office, located on Sandstone Lane E16 1DR, where a member of staff will direct you to a parking place.
You can find further information about driving to and parking at Excel here. Train / Tube / DLR
Excel London has great connections to every corner of the capital and beyond. The new Elizabeth Line has a station on Excel’s door and makes the Show very accessible. For example, travel from Bond Street station takes only 17 minutes and from Paddington is 20 minutes.
Excel London is also connected to London Underground and London Overground by DLR (Docklands Light Railway) which is a part of the London Underground network. The Jubilee Line and the DLR are connected to Excel London. Visitors to the Horse Show should alight at Custom House on the DLR. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving visitors with less than two minutes to walk to the entrance.
Air Travel
Excel London is located in very close proximity to London City Airport. All other London airports are well connected to the venue. Further information about air travel may be found here.
River and Cable Car
Why not take the scenic route to Excel London by river or cable car? If you travel by boat you can take in some of the best views of the capital’s most popular landmarks including Big Ben, the London Eye, The Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and The 02.
Event attendees can use the river services to North Greenwich Pier and the cable car to Royal Victoria – short walk from the west entrance.
The operating times are Thursday 7am to 9pm, Friday 7am to 11pm, Saturday 8am – 11pm, Sunday 9am to 9pm and Monday 7am to 9pm.
Adults are £7 for a one way and £13 for a round trip and children are £3.50 and £6.50.
The cable car can be boarded by using your contactless card, or oyster card. If people wish to purchase tickets with cash, there is a premium to pay (we advise to use contactless).
The cars arrive every 30 seconds and carry up to ten people. One way journeys take up to 10 minutes but vary according to passenger flow and weather conditions.
